During your stay as a guest, you have unlimited free access to the facilities at the neighbouring bungalow park Hoge Hexel, such as the reception, swimming pool and the restaurant (opened Monday to Saturday). During a stay at Landal Sallandse Heuvelrug, you can explore the varied nature in the region.
    You can enjoy ultimate peace and quiet and space on Sundays. That is a day of rest during which all facilities are closed at the neighbouring park. And that gives you all the more time to go bird watching in peace and quiet and to finish that great book!

Food and drink

The adjacent bungalow park Hoge Hexel warmly welcomes you for lunch or dinner (opened Monday to Friday). And the terrace is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. There are numerous hospitality venues in the area for any time of the day. From Brasserie Sjiek to Gasterij de Oale Marckt. In the summer, you can get ice cream from IJs en Chocolade! Swimming

From recreational pond to (heated) indoor pool. The park offers swimming fun for all ages. At the entrance you can get all kinds of swimming products, from armbands and toys to baby floats and swim nappies. Handy for when you go swimming with the kids! The water in the paddling pool is preheated to a lovely 31 degrees. The recreational pond is very popular in the summer. You get that real summer feeling with your feet in the sand at the edge of the swimming pond. Kids can have fun at the beach and build sandcastles. A large part of the swimming pond is reserved for taking a refreshing swim in the water and the maximum depth is 2 metres. You can also go fishing!

Play indoors and outdoors

From climbing equipment to a slide. The indoor playground offers hours of fun and games for kids aged 3-12. The recreation team organises extra activities in the school holidays. Things like a beach volleyball contest or football tournament on the artificial turf. Discover the cool kids’ mountain bike clinics and the GPS and scooter tour through Twente.

Walking and cycling

The surrounding area is perfect for cycling and hiking. The possibilities are endless. From a trip on an e-bike to one of the Hanseatic Cities to an adventurous ride on a mountain bike through the forest. The Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park invites you to enjoy all the beauty growing and blossoming throughout the year in the middle of nature. Golf on the forest and heathland course

At De Koepel golf club, you play on an 18-hole par-70 forest and heathland course. Also known as the former Wierden Dunes. This landscape has been transformed into a rural green.
