You can walk straight into the Schoorl Dunes from the park, and you will soon encounter the Dutch Forestry Commission visitors’ centre: the starting point of many great activities. Take a walk along the Barefoot Path or go on an expedition with the whole family and search for plants and animals in the dunes.

From the park, you can cycle to the beach within 15 minutes. Enjoy a bicycle ride between the pine trees and in the fresh air between the dunes. Don’t forget to stop off at the vantage point and take a moment to enjoy the tranquillity of nature.

Landal Residence Berger Duinen is a small-scale park with 15 accommodation units where peace and quiet are paramount. The residences here have everything you need. All the park's detached accommodation have a modern interior and a lovely terrace. Extra Luxury types allow you to enjoy the outdoors even more, with a patio, outdoor shower, and Kamado grill for those beautiful summer evenings.

It is impossible to get bored in a nature reserve like this. Did you know that there are 60 kilometres of walking and cycling paths in the surrounding area? Bring your own bicycles or hire them at Landal Berger Duinen (3 kilometres from the park). If you are not afraid of ascents and descents, climb the climbing dune in the Schoorl Dunes, the highest dune area in the The Kop van Noord-Holland. And go on adventure and spot dozens of bird species and the most beautiful mushrooms.
 Food and drinks
You can cook in the accommodation or go out for a lovely meal: it’s up to you! In Schoorl, you will find many great restaurants and outdoor cafés. There is something for everyone. Or visit the artists’ village of Bergen where you can sample the art and culture.
 Swimming
What is nicer than swimming in the sea? You can take a wonderful swim within cycling distance of the park. Grab your bucket and spade, it’s going to be a great day!
 Kids
Nature is one big playground for children. It’s great that Landal Residence Berger Duinen is next to the Dutch Forestry Commission’s visitors’ centre, where they organise many fun activities in nature. Come on the “elves’ door route” and see if the elves are at home. Walk the Gnome Trail together or take off your shoes and walk over the Barefoot Path! There is also a great forest playground beside the visitors’ centre.
