The Schoorl Dunes in the back garden
You can walk straight into the Schoorl Dunes from the park, and you will soon encounter the Dutch Forestry Commission visitors’ centre: the starting point of many great activities. Take a walk along the Barefoot Path or go on an expedition with the whole family and search for plants and animals in the dunes.
Through dunes and forest to the beach
From the park, you can cycle to the beach within 15 minutes. Enjoy a bicycle ride between the pine trees and in the fresh air between the dunes. Don’t forget to stop off at the vantage point and take a moment to enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
Small park with modern accommodation
Landal Residence Berger Duinen is a small-scale park with 15 accommodation units where peace and quiet are paramount. The residences here have everything you need. All the park's detached accommodation have a modern interior and a lovely terrace. Extra Luxury types allow you to enjoy the outdoors even more, with a patio, outdoor shower, and Kamado grill for those beautiful summer evenings.

Welcome to Landal Residence Berger Duinen
Hidden away in the special nature reserve of the Schoorl Dunes is holiday park Landal Berger Duinen. The North Holland Dune region is the widest dune area in the Netherlands where beautiful cycling trips and walks can be made. When staying at the park you will be surrounded by woods, heathland, dunes and beach. A paradise for nature lovers! Here you can really unwind. Adrenaline seekers need not be bored either. Climb the 51-metre-high climbing dune or let the sand whizz up as you mountain bike through the dunes. In total, the park has 72 detached accommodations. Enjoy extra luxury in one of our wellness accommodations. All luxury accommodation has a sun shower and walk-in shower. In need of extra luxury? Then book our exclusive villa with a wellness lodge outside. Then you can enjoy a private veranda with sauna, hot tub and outdoor shower. And all this with the warmth of the crackling outdoor fireplace in the background. Time to relax!
Go out together and visit the mystical artists' village of Bergen. Visit the art market, grab a terrace at one of the cosy restaurants or shop in the cosy boutiques. Need a breath of fresh air at the coast? That too is possible in Bergen aan Zee. Within 15 minutes you can be in the cosy cheese town Alkmaar. Don't forget to visit the traditional cheese market!
