You can walk directly from the park into the Lincolnshire Wolds, a nature reserve that was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in 1973. This region is known as one of the most unspoiled landscapes in the East Midlands, with rolling hills, hidden valleys, picturesque villages, and babbling brooks. Wander through the forests, grasslands, and abandoned chalk quarries in search of rare flowers and wildlife.
