Drenthe's versatility will amaze you. Westerbork Memorial Camp is located near the park. Visit historic dolmens ‘shop til you drop' in Assen, or go for a walk on the lovely Drenthe heath. Beautiful nature reserves nearby include the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, Aekingerbroek and Aekingerzan, and Dwingelderveld. Each park has its own character.
 On and around the water
Everything is possible on and around the water. Make a sandcastle on the beach in front of your accommodation or go for a pleasant walk along the water.
Hiking & cycling
You are in the midst of nature in Drenthe from your beautiful accommodation. Enjoy the peace and quiet. There are various walking paths to explore the area, such as the Westerborkpad. This route, which stretches from Amsterdam to the former Camp Westerbork (10 kilometers from Landal Drentse Lagune), ties the present with the past. Cycling is also an option. You don't have a bicycle? No problem, you may hire one at the park
