From the park you can cycle or walk straight into nature and enjoy the vast green forests and heathlands. Visit the largest drifting sand area in Western Europe, Kootwijkerzand and walk along the winding paths of this ever-changing nature reserve.

Parc De Berkenhorst is perfect for a holiday with the whole family. The park is car-free (except for loading and unloading on the day of arrival and departure): that means carefree fun throughout the park! Have fun on the sports and playing field or challenge each other to a game of mini golf. No one needs to be bored here. There is also plenty to do in the area, climbing and clambering in Klimbos Garderen, endless fun in Julianatoren and watching monkeys in the Apenheul.

What could be better than waking up to the smell of fresh, warm rolls? Order your rolls a day in advance at the front desk and they will be waiting for you at 9:00 a.m. You can also buy your daily groceries at the mini-market in the park. There are several restaurants near the park for a pleasant evening meal.

Children can let off steam in the playground and on the sports and playing field. There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area. Climbing and clambering in Klimbos Garderen, a day of fun in Julianatoren or watching monkeys in the Apenheul, boredom is not an option!
 Sport and games
Hit a ball on the golf course nearby or challenge each other on our own mini-golf course or at the table tennis table. The kids can have fun in the various playgrounds on the park. Prefer to explore the surroundings? Hire a bike at reception and explore the most beautiful cycling routes from the park. You can also walk straight into nature from the park.
