They romp, discover and swim while parents relax and enjoy a carefree afternoon by the water. The small lake is up to half a metre deep, perfect for toddlers.

Get a culinary surprise at Paviljoen Schoonhoven, on the banks of recreational lake Schoonhoven. Enjoy a tasty lunch, cozy drinks or delicious dinner overlooking the water. In the sultry summer the perfect location for relaxing with a snack and drink on the beach. In winter the place for cozy evenings after an active day of biking or hiking.

Children swim and build sandcastles at recreational lake Schoonhoven, a few minutes' walk from the accommodation. In the middle of the park, they can spend hours in the playground. Take a trip to Slagharen Amusement Park, a 15-minute drive away, for a day full of fun and entertainment. Go on a world trip in WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo in Emmen less than half an hour away. Visit Kamp Westerbork for an educational outing.

Sport and games

Fancy a game? The park has a boules court or challenge each other to a game of table tennis. Practice your swing at Golf Course Martensplek, a 15-minute drive from the park. Play a challenging 18-hole round of golf surrounded by various nature areas with water and special views.
