On 31 May 2023, Summio Parcs acquired this park from us. Of course, you will enjoy the same facilities, activities and service. If you have any questions about your booking, you can contact Summio Parcs reservation department by phone on +31 (0)85 013 0500. Summio Parcs is available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.
 Food and drinks
Visit Paviljoen De Bloemert to enjoy a drink or a bite with a view of the lake. A sure way to get into the holiday spirit! We are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do you prefer to eat in the comfort of your own bungalow? Have freshly baked buns delivered to start your day with a great breakfast. Or book our Party Grill package. We also save you the trouble of carrying groceries and deliver everything to your bungalow!
 Sports and games
Zuidlaardermeer brims with water sports activities! Surfing, sailing, canoeing and more. Would you like to learn how to surf or sail? Then sign up at our sailing school at the park. You can also rent a boat, go fishing, play mini golf, tennis, basketball or volleyball. Just pick your sport and play!
 Swimming
Dreams can come true: a bungalow with your own private swimming pool. At holiday park de Bloemert you have the option of this luxury. Float around in your own private swimming pool, without having any other guests around. Near the park there is also the sub-tropical swimming complex Aqualaren. Is it hot enough outside? Then go swimming at the recreational beach of Zuidlaardermeer.
 Kids
The park hosts many activities for guests of all ages. Visit our animal pasture, learn how to surf or sail at our surf school or blow off steam at our playgrounds. And who doesn’t enjoy a round of mini golf! Also make sure to visit our Water expedition gate for an interactive learning activity about the history of water in the Hondsrug area.
 Golf
Tee off amidst the beautiful Drenthe landscape. There are several parks in the area where you can practise your golf skills. The Drentsche golf & country club is a 27-hole golf course nestled in a large nature area. Golfclub Semslanden is also nearby and offers an 18-hole golf course and a fun brasserie. Please note: both golf courses require a GVB golf licence.
 Hiking and cycling
It’s time to explore the natural landscape of Drenthe with its vast heathlands and endless unspoiled scenery. Put on your walking shoes or plan a bike tour. Cycle to the lively city of Groningen or explore some of the smaller nearby towns and villages. Didn’t bring your bike? Don’t worry, we offer a variety of rental bikes at the park.

Welcome to Waterpark De Bloemert

Fancy relaxing on your own jetty? You can, at Waterpark De Bloemert in Midlaren, which is situated in a watery landscape. From the marina in the park, sailing onto the extensive Zuidlaardermeer is simplicity itself. With more than 1,100 kilometres of cycle paths, 53 historic dolmens, and three national parks, Drenthe has something for everyone.

You can learn everything about water sports at the holiday park De Bloemert sailing school. Just opposite the holiday park at the Noordlaarderbossen woods for some excellent hiking. And after all that natural beauty, Groningen is just 15 kilometres away for those seeking a dose of culture and the pleasures a city can offer.
