Walking to the beach

From Landal De Schouwse Valleien, it takes about half an hour to walk through the dunes to the beach at Schouwen-Duiveland. There, the sea awaits you for a refreshing dip; you can take a long walk along the coast or enjoy the sun whilst listening to the sound of the waves. The beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag: clean, safe and ideal for a relaxing day by the sea.

Walking and cycling

At Landal De Schouwse Valleien, nature is at your feet. You’ll be staying on the edge of the De Kop van Schouwen nature reserve and the Westerschouwen Forest, where the beach, woods and dunes offer varied routes for walking and cycling. Don’t have a bike? No problem – you can simply hire one at the park.

Close to the beach

Whether you’re here for an active day or to relax, the beach offers endless possibilities. Go for a swim, stroll along the coast or challenge each other to a game of beach volleyball. While the children build sandcastles, you can read a book in the sun.

Food and drink
