The park borders directly on the Loonse en Drunense Duinen, one of the largest drifting sand areas in Western Europe. From the park, you can walk straight out onto the sand, through a landscape that changes abruptly from pine forest to open shifting sand dunes. Ride your bike to the Efteling! Landal Kaatsheuvel is only 7 minutes from the amusement park. No need to even bring a bike; you can rent one at the park. Together with our partner Natuurmonumenten (Dutch Society for Nature Conservation), we offer many walking and cycling routes in the area, for example through the unique drift sand area of National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen.
 Swimming
After a busy day at Efteling, relax with a soak in the swimming pool. Landal Kaatsheuvel offers its guests unlimited free access to the indoor swimming pool. There is also a small paddling pool especially for the little ones. Splashing, playing or swimming laps: swimming is great fun for everyone!
 Kids
Landal Kaatsheuvel is the perfect base for a holiday with children. It's located near the most famous amusement park in the Netherlands: the Efteling. Safaripark Beekse Bergen is also nearby, where you will come face to face with 150 different animal species. The park also features an indoor swimming pool and rents bikes for children.

Want to go out for lunch or dinner? The area offer countless possibilities. How about beer pub and restaurant De Roestelberg, on the edge of the Loonse en Drunense Duinen.
