Located next to the park is one of the largest forest areas in the Netherlands. In this area, you can discover more than 30 hiking routes. For those who prefer cycling, several routes are also available, on both hard and unpaved roads. Also feast your eyes on the experience trail that starts just outside the park. This 2.5-kilometre route takes you through different environments. Along the way, you can find 10 different play objects where you can play and enjoy the view. So there is a lot to discover!

Holidays in nature

Unwind in one of our comfortable bungalows in the middle of the forest. Enjoy the rising sun shining between the trees and start your day with a warm bread fresh from the park's bakery. Discover what the surroundings have to offer and end your day with a delicious barbecue or gourmet package, complete with everything you need. You don't even have to wash up!

Fun for young and old

At Vakantiepark Het Drentse Wold, there is plenty to keep young and old occupied! Challenge each other to a volleyball tournament on the field, play a game of table tennis or enjoy a game of jeu de boules. For the youngest there are several playgrounds on the park. You can also spend hours jumping on the air trampoline!

Swimming

As a guest of the Holiday park, you have free access to the outdoor swimming pool across the park. How often do you go down the slide? And who makes the biggest bomb? Show your friends and family who is the biggest water rat! Enjoy a day of fun and adventure in the water.

Food and drinks

Enjoy fresh bread and delicacies from the local bakery and butcher, conveniently available for pick-up at the park. Start your morning right with a croissant or a delicious bread roll, and in the afternoon, pick up a piece of sugar bread for a tasty snack in the forest. End the day with a tasty baguette with drinks. Various pastries and biscuits are also available.

Kids

For the little ones, there is plenty to do. There are several playgrounds scattered around the park. There is also an air trampoline you can jump on for hours.

Sport and games

There is plenty to do for sports enthusiasts. Rent a mountain bike and explore the beautiful surroundings, or challenge your friends to a game of volleyball on the court. For a fun challenge, play boules on the dedicated court. Don't forget the soccer field, which has hosted many tournaments. Who knows, you might even come out on top!
