Eating Out in Westerbork

The park is 8 minutes by bike from the village of Westerbork. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in the area where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Let's get some food!

Minishop

The Minishop on the park offers basic necessities such as coffee, tea and bread rolls. You are also welcome here for firewood and briquettes. For groceries, you can go to the Jumbo in Westerbork.

Facilities Holiday park Drentse Lagune

Landal Drentse Lagune has much to offer everyone. You will find quiet and space here. You can simply get to the lake or the park's beach from your luxurious accommodations. Go for authentically local eating in the park's surrounding area. And then, after a wonderful walk, relax, but... in your beautiful accommodation, complete with veranda or a lovely hot tub.

New facilities (from 15 June)

Mark your calendars for June 15. With the launch of several new park facilities, there will be more ways than ever to enjoy your escape. Take a dip in the indoor swimming pool, where young and old alike can have fun, and discover the play area in and around the water. Start your day at a leisurely pace at the coffee corner with seating, then settle down on the terrace. For your daily shopping or a local souvenir, pop into the shop selling groceries and local produce. You can also visit reception with any questions you may have during your stay.

Visit Orvelte

You can see and feel history as you walk through Orvelte. Which would you prefer: a farmer's pancake or a rye bun? Dorpscafé Warmolts and restaurant De Drentse Heerlijkheid serve traditional Dutch cuisine. They're about a 15-minute bike ride away from the park.
