Landal Drentse Lagune has been significantly expanded with all sorts of new facilities. For instance, there is now a centrally located swimming beach with play equipment, a swing along the water’s edge, table tennis tables, a trail to the peninsula and a cable car back. Next to the beach is a spacious terrace with a café serving coffee, ice cream, cakes, soft drinks and light snacks. In the main building, you’ll find the reception desk, the ParkShop and the entrance to the indoor swimming pool. There’s also an indoor play area featuring a slide, air hockey, table football and an interactive play wall.
 Indoor swimming pool
Fancy a few laps or some splashing fun with the little ones? The indoor swimming pool features a large pool 1.40 metres deep and a separate toddler and nursery pool with play equipment and a small slide. Thanks to the clean, spacious changing and shower facilities, you can start and end your swim in a relaxed manner.
 Swimming beach with playground
Everything comes together at the centrally located swimming beach: water, play and relaxation. Children can let off steam on the play equipment, the swing along the water’s edge and the path to the peninsula. From there, you can whizz back on the cable car, within sight of the terrace. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the view over the water from a sun lounger or play a game of table tennis together.
 For kids
There is plenty for children to do at Landal Drentse Lagune. Outside, the swimming beach awaits with play equipment, a swing along the water’s edge, a trail to the peninsula and a cable car. There are also table tennis tables for some active fun together. Indoors, children can head to the indoor play area next to and above the coffee bar. There you’ll find a slide, air hockey, a football table and an interactive play wall. For younger children, there is also a craft and colouring table. And in the indoor swimming pool, next to the main pool, there is a smaller paddling pool with a small slide and play equipment.

Next to the swimming beach is a spacious terrace, right next to the café. Here you can sit down for coffee, cake, ice cream, soft drinks or a light snack. Both indoors and outdoors there are comfortable seating areas where you can relax. You can also play a game here or simply unwind after a day on and around the water.
 Bike hire
Hire a bike at reception and explore the park and the surrounding area of Drenthe at your leisure. Set off on a ride past heathland, villages and quiet country lanes.
 Surroundings
Drenthe's versatility will amaze you. Westerbork Memorial Camp is located near the park. Visit historic dolmens ‘shop til you drop' in Assen, or go for a walk on the lovely Drenthe heath. Beautiful nature reserves nearby include the National Park Drents-Friese Wold, Aekingerbroek and Aekingerzan, and Dwingelderveld. Each park has its own character.

Westerbork and Orvelte are nearby, and places such as Assen, Emmen and Hoogeveen are also easily accessible. At the park, everything revolves around peace, space and water.
