You may park a maximum of one car at your villa. You can park any additional cars in the central car park.
The Texel parking permit
The Texel parking permit allows you to park for one calendar year (from January to December) in the paid parking areas on the island. New from 1 december 2016 is the E-vignet. This electronic vignet can only be ordered digitally. Check the website for more information and current prices. Would you prefer not to purchase a parking permit? No problem - you can also pay at the parking meters (with debit card or credit card). In this case, you pay € 2.50 an hour. A Texel e-vignet is quickly cheaper.
The ferry crossingFrom Den Helder, TESO runs a ferry to Texel every hour. You don’t need to reserve a date or time slot for this service. However, you can buy a return ticket in advance here and you have the option to register your car or other means of transport for automatic access. Also check the website for fares and current information on the ferry service.
If you want to come to Texel on public transport, take the train to Den Helder. A Connexxion bus (number 33) leaves the train station in Den Helder at 12 minutes past the hour for the 'Veerhaven' (ferry port). The service only connects with regular crossings. On Texel, a 'Texelhopperbus'* (number 28) will be waiting when the ferry arrives. This will take your to De Koog via Den Burg. You cannot use your public transport chip card on this service. Electric charging station
There is no central charging station at the park. At some accommodations you can reserve a charging station for electric cars for free.
