Guest preferences result in top position in the Sustainable Brand Index.
Landal GreenParks once again most sustainable brand of holiday park providers in the Netherlands
Six time winner
Landal GreenParks has been elected Top Industry Leader in the Holiday Parks category in the annual Sustainable Brand Index. This is the sixth time the holiday provider takes home the title of most sustainable brand of holiday parks.
The Sustainable Brand Index is the largest independent brand research on sustainability in Europe. The study has been conducted annually since 2011. The 2023 study, a nationally representative sample of 12,000 Dutch consumers aged 16-75 was surveyed between December 2022 and February 2023. A total of 210 brands across 22 sectors were assessed on their perceived performance with regards to the 17 global sustainability goals
Tony's Chocolonely was named the most sustainable brand in the Netherlands this year. Other industry leaders include: Greenchoice (energy), ANWB (mobility), IKEA (retail), Lidl (supermarkets), Tesla (automotive), Triodos (banks), Spa (beverages) and bol.com (e-commerce).
Ambitious sustainability programme
With every passing year, Landal GreenParks’ ambitious sustainability programme brings the company closer to achieving its goal of becoming climate neutral. The holiday provider invests in green initiatives, projects and partnerships, and supports natural biodiversity in the immediate vicinity of the holiday parks.
