Discover the lakes
The park is located directly on Belgium's largest lake district, which consists of five lakes, each with its own character. The park borders the largest lake, where you can settle down on a wide sandy beach with a view of the sunset. On the beach, you can rent a canoe, sailing boat, surfboard, SUP board or even a wing foil from Espace Fun. Prefer to practice first? Choose from a wide range of lessons to build your confidence. Thanks to the gradually increasing depth, the water is perfect for swimming in many spots. Experienced divers will find a dedicated diving area across the lake, while another lake is specially equipped for fishing. Because the lakes are connected, the water remains clear and constantly refreshed.
Sporty walking and cycling
If there is one area that invites you to explore, it is the landscape surrounding the lakes. You can start walking or cycling right from the park: routes lead along the water and wind through villages and open fields. The cycle paths along the banks have gentle inclines that are pleasant to navigate, though you can also choose one of the many marked tours in the area. You can easily hire a bicycle at the park. Across the lake is a golf course for those who want to hit a few balls. If you are looking for more adventure, you can climb among the treetops or abseil above the lake at Natureparc. This allows you to effortlessly alternate quiet moments with an active day outdoors.
Flavours of the region
Open year-round in the heart of the park, Le Coeur restaurant is the perfect spot for a casual drink or tasty meal. You can browse the menu and book your table easily through the Landal app. For a taste of Italy, visit Pizzeria L’Eau d’Heure et le Goût at the park entrance to enjoy fresh pizzas and pastas on-site or as a takeaway. The local area also offers plenty of culinary treasures. Discover charming restaurants in nearby Cerfontaine and Froidchapelle, or explore the region's historic abbeys and vineyards. If you are looking for a bigger adventure, the famous Champagne region is less than a two-hour drive away.
