The park is only a 100-metre walk from the beach, in a dune landscape. In the summer, you can swim in the largest swimming pool in the Netherlands: The North Sea! Or you can take a lovely beach walk and catch your breath on a terrace.

Learn to surf at the beach. And enjoy a show at De Houten Kaap beach theatre. Every week, they organise a different workshop or activities for children, including theatre lessons, face painting, children’s yoga and discovering nature with the forest ranger.

 Wandelen en fietsen
Explore the many kilometres of bike paths on the island and breathe in the fresh air in the dunes or the endless polder landscape. Bikes can be conveniently rented at the park. Ride out to nature reserves and visit picturesque cities, such as Goeree-Overflakkee. Feel the wind in your hair on a long beach walk or relax among the trees in the forest.
 Sports and games
There are plenty of activities close to your villa. Step in a blokart (a three-wheeler powered by a sail) and race across the beach or head out on the water of the North Sea and Grevelingenmeer for some kitesurfing, canoeing or sailing. In addition to trying a variety of water sports, you can also rent an e-bike, go-kart, tandem and more at our bike rental.
 Kids
Who can fly the highest kite? Who is the first to reach the top of the indoor play area? And who wins the sandcastle competition? Enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the play dune area, where kids can have hours of fun in the lookout tower. Also experience the features of our special children’s accommodations or participate in the fun activities provided by the Fun & Entertainment Programme.
 Golf
You will find a number of golf courses in the area, nestled between farmland and forest. Clear your head with a round of golf on the challenging dune course or practise teeing off at the driving range. Afterwards, restore your energy with a drink or a snack in the nearby restaurant.
 Swimming
Listen to the sound of the surf of the North Sea. The beach at Ouddorp is perfect for a refreshing dive into the ocean. Grevelingenmeer, on the other side of the island, also offers lots of fun in, on and near the water. Find the weather too cold? Then visit the swimming pool at the park.
