Explore Central Switzerland

Central Switzerland has plenty to offer hiking enthusiasts. You can marvel at the mountain landscape of the Swiss Alps while you walk. The trails bring you to places and views that can only be reached on foot. To get you started we have listed a few of these trails for you.


Fronalpstock - Klingenstock trail
This 14 km long trail starts in Stoos and goes through Welesch and Oberfeld to Fronalpstock. When you arrive in Fronalpstock, enjoy the sunshine and panoramic view at the mountain restaurant.

Stoos - Riemenstalden trail
Do you want to hike in the Swiss Alps? If so, try the 16 km long trail from Stoos to Riemenstalden. There is the occasional steep slope to be braved. Dare you meet the challenge?

Weg der Schweiz
This trail was a gift from the cantons to the Swiss people to mark the 700th anniversary of the Rütli oath. The trail goes from Rütli through Flüelen and Siskon to Brunnen. The amazing views, natural trails and well-designed picnic places will be sure to fire your enthusiasm. In the meantime benches and springs will invite you to take a rest.

Nordic Walking

You can do Nordic Walking in the surroundings of Morschach and Stoos. You can choose between different trails of varying distances and difficulty. Many hiking trails can also be used for Nordic Walking.
