Cycling routes

Maare-Mosel cycling route 
The 56km Maare-Mosel cycling route passes through the volcanic landscape of the Eifel. The cycling route starts at the former station in Daun and almost entirely follows the old railway. The flat route is very suitable for families with children.

Mosel cycling route 
The Mosel cycling route, which is part of the Velo Tour Mosel international cycling route, starts at the medieval fortress Schloss Thorn and passes over the Upper Mosel in the direction of Trier. The route is clearly signposted and is also suitable for children.
Schinderhannes cycling route 
The Schinderhannes cycling route guarantees 38 km of cycling pleasure for young and old. The route passes along the old railway between Emmelshausen and Simmern. It takes you through stunning landscapes far away from any busy roads.

Mountain biking
