Can fireworks be let off at the parks?
Our selection includes numerous fireworks-free holiday parks where you can enjoy a peaceful New Year’s Eve. Ideal for a holiday with your dog or with young children. You’ll also find parks with minimal fireworks and holiday parks where setting off fireworks is permitted.
We have divided our parks into four categories:
Firework free
Around New Year’s Eve, you are not permitted to set off fireworks at the park. The park monitors this and will speak to guests if necessary. The park is located in the Netherlands, where there is a ban on private fireworks, or outside the Netherlands in a fireworks-free municipality.
Firework free + carbide tradition
Around New Year’s Eve, you are not permitted to set off fireworks on the park. The park will monitor this and speak to guests if necessary. Outside the Netherlands, the park is situated in a fireworks-free municipality. In the Netherlands, there is a ban on private fireworks, but exemptions may apply in the vicinity of the park, for example for carbide shooting.

Around New Year’s Eve, you are not permitted to set off fireworks in the park. The park does not actively monitor this and/or is situated outside the Netherlands in a municipality that is not fireworks-free. We therefore cannot rule out the possibility that you may hear or see fireworks in or around the park. In the Netherlands, there is a ban on private fireworks. However, exemptions may apply in the surrounding area for carbide shooting.
Fireworks permitted
Around New Year’s Eve, you may set off fireworks within the park. This may be done in a specially designated area or in another safe location.
Please note: From this year onwards, private fireworks are banned in the Netherlands. Please bear this in mind when booking and ensure you comply with this new rule on New Year’s Eve.
