At Landal Marker Wadden the beach is literally at your feet. Take a walk on the beach, build a sandcastle or take a dip in the surrounding Markermeer. There’s something for everyone!

Coffee with a view

Enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, ice cream or refreshing beer with a beautiful view of the Markermeer at the Island Pavilion. And that with your bare feet in the sand!

By foot

Discover the Marker Wadden archipelago by foot and discover all the different kinds of animals and plants living here. If you’re a real daredevil, venture over the marshy sections on the wooden walkways. The Marker Wadden archipelago has a total of around 12 km of footpaths.

On the island

Experience island life at Landal Marker Wadden where the beach lies at your feet. After lunch, it's time for a beautiful walk in the nature reserve where you can spot various types of birds in one of the many bird watching huts.

Birdwatchers beware!

There are several bird observatories and a watchtower on the island. With the aid of binoculars, you can spot the most beautiful birds on the Marker Wadden archipelago. Who knows, you might even spot a plover, avocet or spoonbill. You'll be amazed!
