Step into the Het Oerd Nature Reserve of natural beauty and scale the Ballumerduinen (dunes). Enjoy the meadow landscape around you. Or stroll to the picture-postcard village of Nes. If you'd rather explore the countryside by bicycle, there are various cycling routes on Ameland. Starting at the holiday park, there are kilometres of natural beauty for you to cycle through. You can explore the island using the Ameland Route. Discover woods, dunes, and salt marshes and be amazed by that island feeling. After an active day, settle down on patio of Grand Café-Restaurant Paal 13.

Tip: rent a bicycle

You don't have to bring your own bike in order to explore the rich Ameland countryside. You can rent one at the park - very convenient. You can rent ladies', men's and children's bicycles.

Note: in the high season, bikes may be hired from Bike Rental Kiewiet next to the park.
