Update on our commercial leadership team
We want to inform you of an important update in our commercial organisation.
Commercial strengthening for better results
Landal is strengthening its commercial structure. To deliver on our growth ambitions and further sharpen our position in the market, we are separating the Chief Commercial Officer role into two distinct, dedicated functions. One with full focus on revenue management and sales, and one with full focus on marketing, digital development and guest service. Two disciplines that each deserve their own approach and their own leadership.
This means more focus, more speed and a stronger commercial presence in the market. That translates directly into better occupancy, stronger brand awareness and more guests at your park.
The new structure
Marleen van de Pol becomes Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and joins our Executive Team, responsible for Revenue Management and Sales. Marleen brings over 18 years of experience at Air France-KLM, where she held leadership roles across Pricing and Revenue Management, Customer Experience and Network Planning. Since joining Landal, she has led Revenue Management and Sales and built a strong track record in commercial performance. She brings the analytical rigour, the commercial instinct and the leadership experience this role demands.
Boukje Taphoorn joins as Chief Marketing and Digital Product Officer (CMPO) on 15 August. She has a strong track record in marketing and e-commerce, most recently as Chief Marketing and Sustainability Officer at bol. We are delighted to welcome her.
What this means for you
For you as homeowners and board members, nothing changes in your day-to-day relationship with Landal. Our commitment to marketing, occupancy and service remains unchanged. With these changes we continue to invest in our position as the strongest holiday park operator in Europe, in the interest of our guests and of you as homeowners and board members.
