Lake taxi on the Turracher Höhe
The ski pistes on the Turracher Höhe are separated by Lake Turrach. To reach the pistes and lifts on the other side, you can either use the ‘Maulwurf’ ski bridge near the Kornockbahn cable car or the so-called ‘Seetaxi’. A tractor with handrails pulls skiers across the frozen lake, creating a connection between the Sonnenbahn and the practice meadow.
Skiing on the Turracher Höhe

Thanks to its altitude of 1,400-2,205 metres, the Turracher Höhe is one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Austria and presents itself as a varied winter paradise from November to May. 43 kilometres of pistes offer a wonderful variety from easy, blue pistes to steep, challenging pistes. 100% of these pistes can also be covered with snow, which further increases snow reliability. The Turracher Höhe ski area is also home to Austria's largest Fun Mountain. The snow park is one of the hotspots of the freestyle scene and offers challenges for every skill level with its 3 lines. The special family line guarantees fun for the whole family in the snow park. You can also look forward to the XXL Funslope, Funcross and a Kidsslope.

But there is no shortage of winter sports fun away from the piste either. Whether cross-country ski trails or winter hiking and snowshoe trails - no wish remains unfulfilled here.
