Water excitement and sensation

Wild rivers, speed and adventure. Water sports, a complete experience in the Ardennes. Go kayaking, canoeing or rafting and explore the river Ourthe and the Amblève. You can rent equipment at Coo Adventure or at De Peddel Canoe Centre.


Fish lovers take note! There are various opportunities to do some fishing around the park. On the Warfaaz lake at Spa or Barbecue in Trois-ponts you will find a great spot at the side of the fishing pond. In Ligneuville, you can go trout fishing from late March until late October. You do need a fishing permit. This can be obtained at the post office and VVV tourist information office in Belgium.

There are plenty of golf courses in the Ardennes. Golf enthusiasts can indulge their passion during their holiday. A round of golf on one of the rolling nearby courses. In the heart of the wooded surroundings, you will find the Des Fagnes Royal Golf Club with 18 holes par 72 Championship Course. You can also go to Du Haras Golfclub, Du Sart-Tilman Royal Golf Club, Five Nations Golf Club and International Gomzé Golf Club.

Horse riding in the woods

You can also explore the nature on horseback. At Ferme Bodson in Trois-Ponts, about 500 metres from the park, you can go trekking in the woods under the supervision of a guide. A unique experience. You'll see the Ardennes from a different perspective.

Winter fun!

The area surrounding Landal Village les Gottales is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts in the winter season. The Baraque Fraiture ski area at 652 metres is the highest ski area in Belgium. It has three ski slopes and four cross-country trails of 4, 7, 14 and 21 kilometres Winter fun!
