Hiking and cycling

On the island, there are miles of cycle paths waiting to be discovered. Via expansive polders, dunes and dykes, you reach lovely nature areas and characteristic towns. You can rent bikes at the park. There are some lovely walks in the Duinen van Goeree with its shifting sand dunes, mudflats, wide beaches and woods.

Enjoy the sea breeze

Various walks start near the park, taking you through the Duinen van Goeree. The Koploper, a 20-kilometre route, offers a fantastic view over mudflats, bunting and meandering streams. Or explore the tidal Kwade Hoek area walking along duckboards and unpaved footpaths and spot the many birds and plants that have made this their home.

Cycling

At Stellendam, some 10 kilometres of the park, both the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia passed through the Delta area. So Goeree-Overflakkee is the right place for anyone who loves cycling. Tip: bicycle rental at the park

Leave your own bike at home, because you can rent one during your stay for an affordable price. That's convenient! Rent a ladies', a men's or a children's bike or choose a tandem or e-bike. Prefer to take things easy? Rent an electric scooter and ride silently past the most beautiful areas.
