Landal GreenParks has been named the most sustainable travel brand in the Netherlands for the 4th time

For the fourth year in a row, Landal GreenParks has been proclaimed the most sustainable travel brand in the Netherlands in the Travel & Leisure category.

For the fourth year in a row, Landal GreenParks has been proclaimed the most sustainable travel brand in the Netherlands in the Travel & Leisure category. That is the result of the Sustainable Brand Index of 2021, which was held in the Netherlands for the fifth time this year in seven categories.

Sustainable Brand Index
Sustainable Brand Index is Europe's largest independent sustainability and consumer brand survey, with a total of more than 1,400 brands, over 30 sectors and 60,000 consumers in 8 countries. The study is based on research among Dutch consumers and shows how consumer brands are perceived in terms of sustainability, environmental and social responsibility. The Sustainable Brand Index measures and analyses how sustainability affects brands and how consumers assess the sustainability work of brands. Each brand has been randomly rated by at least 1,000 people.

Other winners
Landal GreenParks leads the Travel & Tourism industry. Tony's Chocolonely was named as the most sustainable brand in the Netherlands this year, for the fourth time. Other industry winners were: Greenchoice (energy), ANWB (mobility), IKEA (retail), ASN Bank (banking), Albert Heijn (supermarkets), Spa (Spadel) (beverages), Tesla (Automotive), bol.com (Ecommerce), KPN (telecom), CZ (insurance), Google (digital), La Place Restaurants, Van der Valk Business and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. More than 9,000 Dutch people were asked about their sustainability ratings of well-known brands.

Dirk Anbeek
“We are extremely proud to have been voted the most sustainable travel brand in the Netherlands for the fourth consecutive time. This guest appreciation is a great recognition and also a great support for all employees who have made an enormous effort and showed extraordinary flexibility during the past year to continue to make unforgettable holidays come true,” says general manager Dirk Anbeek of Landal GreenParks. “We give guests the opportunity to experience nature and promote greater awareness of our living environment, so they are able to take home with them a love of nature after their visit. The current uncertain time once again underlines the importance of sustainability. That is why we continue to invest in a sustainable society.”
