The detached, wooden plots are provided with a sustainable air/water pump and have excellent insulation. If you book our luxury holiday home, then even if the weather is less favourable, you can enjoy the outdoor life on the patio with a heater and a BBQ suitable for all seasons.

Elfstedenhart is a small-scale park with a total of 58 sustainable, luxury holiday homes. Nice and cosy. The abundant water and greenery in the surroundings make you feel connected to nature. At the park, you will find a reception, a coffee corner and an indoor playground where the kids can play and run around.

Here, many skaters, both unknown and well-known, have skated the Elfstedentocht route. The route has been Frisian heritage since the last Elfstedentocht on skates in 1997. It really is something you must experience for yourself: sail, skate, drive or walk the route.

Walk straight from your front door into the Frisian landscape past beautiful farmhouses and terp villages (built on artificial mounds). There are also many cycling routes you can take to explore the watery surroundings. If you didn’t bring a bike, no problem. You can rent bikes at the park, ranging from e-bikes to mountain bikes.
 Swimming
Nice weather? Then have a swimmingly good time in the ‘Mounewetter’ outdoor swimming pool, only a 10-minute walk from the park. Or go to the beach for the day and swim and sunbathe at Makkum by Lake IJsselmeer. You can go swimming all year round in the sub-tropical swimming pool complex in Joure, which is only a 15-minute drive away.
Water sports
Did you know that you can rent a SUP at the park? They are ideal for discovering the watery surroundings of Friesland in a relaxed way. Or rent a boat and sail the Elfstedentocht route. Looking for adrenaline? Then you can go sailing, kitesurfing or windsurfing and let the wind blow through your hair.
 Kids
At the park, kids can go climbing, building, scrambling and gaming in our indoor play area. The youngest ones’ senses will be stimulated in the soft play area. Kids of other ages can have fun climbing, building and scrambling in the ‘building’ corner and play wall.
Food and drinks
At the park you will find a coffee corner where you can go for a nice cup of coffee, bread rolls and local produce. The surrounding area has plenty of lovely places where you can go out to eat and have a drink. Our staff at reception will be more than happy to give you some tips!

Enjoy your stay at Landal Elfstedenhart!

Located in the heart of Friesland, near the Wadden Sea and directly on the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour) route is where you will find Landal Elfstedenhart. Due to the small scale of the park, you will feel right at home. Sweeping vistas, farmhouses, water and beautiful countryside: you can fully relax and unwind here. It’s a real treat hiking and cycling here! At the park, you can rent a SUP board and discover the area from the water. Or you could rent a boat and go sailing or fishing: you can do it all. And who knows, if you come in winter you may be able to go skating on the historic Elfstedentocht route! But if that’s not the case, you can still sail the route throughout the year. The park has a total of 58 luxury holiday homes. The sustainable, spacious and detached plots by the water provide freedom and bring you even closer to nature.

Go out for the day together and sample the history in the city centre of Franeker. Or visit the characteristic museum village of Allingawier. Here, stories of the past come to life. Get to know the Frisians better and learn about their past. Fryslân, we are on our way!
