Bernard Gallacher

Officially opened by Ryder Cup Captain, Bernard Gallacher, on 27th September 2017, Bernard said “I was intrigued when I heard about the idea of nine holes inspired by famous holes around the world and I enjoyed playing the course very much. The most life-like was the hole inspired by the ‘Postage Stamp’ – when I stood on the tee it felt exactly like it. Hats off to the course designer David Cooper for creating a terrific course.”

The Famous Nine

The Famous Nine is the largest golf course using all-weather greens in the UK. And it is the only golf course in Cornwall using the very latest all-weather greens materials, ensuring that the course is playable all year round. It takes around 90 minutes to two hours to play The Famous Nine, which perfectly suits the busy lifestyle of a modern golfer.
