On Frisian waters
You are surrounded by water in the park. You are directly on the Lauwersmeer and can take the ferry to Schiermonnikoog for the day. Fishing and water sports are both available nearby.
Pitch & Putt golf and foot golf
Hit a ball on the unique 18-hole Pitch & Putt course. The course is full of water features, gently rolling terrain and a view of the Lauwersmeer. Or try the new 'foot golf': yes, that's pitch & putt with your feet and a football. A combination is possible as well!

Welcome to Landal Esonstad
Landal Esonstad is located next to Lauwersmeer National Park in the Frisian town of Anjum. Landal Esonstad is a holiday park of more than 144 smoke-free residences and apartments in Old Frisian style and modern Terp houses. Or go to Dokkum with its friendly terraces, easily accessible via the 13-kilometre long bicycle route. Or combine your stay with a day trip to Schiermonnikoog (with own ferry service) or Ameland!
