The Baltic Sea coast cycling route
Discover the beauty of the Baltic Sea coast by taking the Baltic Sea route. This cycling route is 1,075 km long and takes several days to complete. The cycling route starts in Flensburg, near the Danish border, after which the sea is your permanent guide until the finish in Usedom.
Cycle past the reed beds of Lake Hemmelsdorf and feel the tranquillity. Enjoy the gorgeous surroundings and the wonderful views. On the way, you can sample freshly smoked eel which the fishermen have caught in the lake.
Mountain bike route
Near Landal Travemünde, there is a mountain bike route for sporty cyclists. The 16-km route starts in Brodten and goes via Travemünde to Niendorf. On the way, you pass the steep Baltic Sea coastline.
