We currently receive a lot of questions via our Contact Center and Social Media, which means that the waiting times are rising considerably. We apologize for the inconvenience, we do everything we can to help everyone as good as possible. Below you can find the most important questions and answers regarding the Coronavirus.

We do our utmost to provide information to guests who are currently staying at a park or arriving in the near future (March). Depending on your destination, we will contact you by telephone or email.
Would you prefer to contact us by phone? Then you help us and other guests by:
  • contacting us only if you have made a booking with an arrival before the 15th of April. For all arrivals from 15 April 2020, further information will follow as soon as possible.
  • keeping your reservation number with you at all times.
  • contacting our Contact Center, not our parks, for rebooking and cancellation.
  • thinking about the desired date and park when rebooking.
Top 10 Frequently asked questions
  • Are the parks open?

    We choose to keep our parks open as much as possible, so that you can continue to enjoy a stay surrounded by nature. The health of our guests and employees is of primary importance. We follow the guidelines of National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the local authorities in other countries. This means that we will temporarily close the facilities in our parks, such as restaurants, swimming pools, bowling and the Kids Club.

  • Can I cancel my holiday?

    Within 14 days after making the reservation, you can cancel free of charge, provided that you have made your reservation more than 28 days before the start of your stay. Did you make the reservation more than 14 days ago? Then we will offer you a voucher worth the already paid travel sum. More information about the voucher can be found on this page under 'voucher'.

  • Which parks are currently closed in The Netherlands?

    We have closed the following facilities at all our Dutch parks:

    - Swimming pools and indoor playgrounds
    - Bowling and other indoor facilities
    - Restaurants, snack bars and shops

    The reception and technical service are available.

    You are of course still very welcome at our parks. We do everything we can to give you a great holiday in which you can still enjoy the beautiful nature in the area and take trips such as walking and cycling trips.

    You can contact the Contact Center for this. Due to the Coronavirus measures, we have made changes to our terms and conditions. You can now change your booking whenever you want.     Landal GreenParks is operating in challenging circumstances due to the Coronavirus measures. That is why we have made changes to our terms and conditions. This means for you that you cannot cancel your booking, but can always change your booking.

  • Can I change my stay to a different date?

    Yes, you can move your holiday to another date. You can contact the Contact Center for this. Due to the Coronavirus measures, we have made changes to our terms and conditions.   • I have booked for a stay in March , but the facilities at the park are closed. What happens now?

    Due to recent developments regarding the spread of the Coronavirus in Europe, measures have been announced by the Dutch government. These measures also affect your booking. Unfortunately, all facilities at our parks are closed until June 1. You can still decide to go to the park you bookes.

    Do you prefer to stay at this park for another period? Then you can rebook directly via our Contact Center. Would you rather decide later when and where you want to stay? Then you will receive a voucher worth the already paid travel sum.

  • When I rebook my holiday to a later period, and this will be more expensive, do I pay additional costs?

    If the changed booking becomes more expensive, you will be required to pay the extra price difference.

  • I have booked for a stay in March , but the facilities at the park are closed. What happens now?

  • The park is closed and I want to rebook my holiday to a later periode. Hoow can I do that?

    If you have booked a holiday at a park that is unfortunately closed, you will receive an email from us with a voucher. The voucher we offer has the value of the travel sum you have already paid. You can then decide to rebook your holiday to your preferred travel period and destination (within one year).

  • I want to rebook my holiday to a later period. How can I do that?

    We understand that you are concerned on the continuation of your holiday. Have you booked a stay after June 1? Then we ask you to wait. The situation changes daily.

    Do you prefer to stay at this park for another period? Then you can rebook directly via our Contact Center. Would you rather decide later when and where you want to stay? Then you will receive a voucher worth the already paid travel sum.

  • I have booked a stay, but the park is closed during this period, what happens now?

    If the park is closed during your booked stay, we will contact you by order of arrival date. You will receive a confirmation email from us that your stay is canceled. In addition, you will receive a voucher by e-mail no later than 7 days later, worth the already paid travel sum. In this email you will also read how to use the voucher.

    The voucher is valid for one year as of the issue date.

  • Can I cancel my holiday?

    Within 14 days after making the reservation, you can cancel free of charge, provided that you have made your reservation more than 28 days before the start of your stay.   • What is a voucher?

    The voucher is an online payment method to book a stay via our website. We introduced the voucher because we received many rebook requests. We understand it might be difficult to choose a different period and/ or park on the spot. With the voucher we have made it possible to book a stay at a later moment. The voucher can be redeemed in combination with a creditcard. If you do not possess a credit card, please contact our Contact Centre for booking a new stay.

  • What are the benefits of a voucher?

    - You can make an online booking yourself.
    - You can make the booking when you please, it is valid up to one year after you have received the voucher.
    - You can choose from all parks.
    - You can choose from all periods that are bookable on that moment on the website.

  • How does the voucher work?

    You can redeem the voucher as an online payment method for a new booking via our website. How you can use your voucher exactly, you can read in the e-mail in which you receive the voucher. The voucher can be redeemded in combination with a creditcard. If you do not possess a credit card, please contact our Contact Centre for your booking.

  • When do I receive a voucher?

    You will receive a voucher if you have made a booking for a period when the park is closed. You don't have to do anything, you will receive a voucher by e-mail.

    You will also receive a voucher if you decide to rebook your stay, but don't know to which period.

  • For what timeperiod is the voucher valid?

    The voucher is valid for one year after you have received it. That's why it is important that you redeem your voucher within one year. Your new stay doesn't need to take place within this year. You can choose from the stays that are bookable on our website on that moment.

  • Do I have to spend the total amount of the voucher in one time?

    No, you decide how you want to spend the amount of your voucher. When you book a new stay, the remaining amount of the voucher will stay on the voucher. We therefore advise you to keep the voucher in a safe place. Please keep in mind that the voucher is valid up until one year.

  • I don't have an email adress on which I can receive a voucher, what should I do?

    We need an email adress to send the voucher to. We ask you to make an email adress or send an email adress of a close family member to our Contact Center.

  • Can I already request a voucher for my stay in 2020, no matter what arrival date?

    You can request a voucher for your booked stay, no matter what arrival date. The booking you made, will be canceled. With the voucher you can book a new stay via our website within one year. Please contact our Contact Center to request a voucher.

  • I still haven't received a voucher, what happens now?

    We aim to send the voucher 7 days after receiving the cancellation email. However, due to the enormous crowds, this can take a week longer. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

  • What value is on the voucher?

    The voucher has the value of the travel sum that you have already have paid.

  • Are the parks open?

    We choose to keep our parks open as much as possible, so that you can continue to enjoy a stay surrounded by nature. The health of our guests and employees is of primary importance.     As a result of RIVM's Corona guidelines, we have had to close facilities at our parks for the time being, such as restaurants, swimming pools, bowling and the Kids Club. The health of our guests and employees is of primary importance. This means that there is currently no daytime recreation possible at our parks.

  • Which facilities at the parks are still open?

    The following facilities are closed at all our parks:

    - Swimming pools and indoor playgrounds
    - Bowling and other indoor facilities
    - Restaurants, snack bars and shops

    The reception and technical service are available.

  • Are the campings open?

    Due to the measures taken by the Dutch government regarding the Coronavirus, we unfortunately had to decide to close most of our campsites, from March 20, 2020 to at least Monday, April 6, 2020. Our campsites at Coldenhove and Esonstad are closed. Only the safari tents with their own facilities are still open at the moment. This concerns the safari tents at Landal Sluftervallei and Landal Rabbit Hill.

    Our parks in Germany are closed, this also applies to the campsites on these parks.

  • Why do some parks close, and some parks stay open?

    Each park of Landal GreenParks is unique, the range of our facilities and the location differ per park. We therefore carefully weigh up the measures we take per country and per park.

    The government of Denmark has decided to close its borders as part of measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. It is therefore not possible to make a booking for the period until April 13, 2020.

  • What is the current situation at the parks in Austria?

    The Austrian authorities have determined that the winter sports areas will close and that all accommodations must be closed. For our parks in Austria, this means that they will not open until the end of the winter sports season. This measure applies at least until March 30, 2020. It is no longer possible to make new reservations for this period.

  • What is the current situation at the parks in Switserland?

    The government of Switzerland has taken measures against the spread of the Coronavirus. This currently has consequences for two parks in Switzerland.

    Alpine Lodge Lenzerheide
    The winter sports area around Arosa-Lenzerheide is closed. Our Kids Club, swimming pool and restaurant are also closed until at least April 14, 2020. The reception and mini supermarket remain open daily.

    Vierwaldstättersee
    We unfortunately had to close our Vierwaldstättersee park until at least 19 April 2020.

  • What is the current situation at the parks in Czech?

    The government of the Czech Republic has decided, in the context of measures against the spread of the Coronavirus, to close the national borders for visitors from countries including The Netherlands and Germany. Health checks are carried out at national borders. It is therefore not possible to make a booking for the period up to and including 10 April 2020.

  • Can I still book a holiday?

    Of course you can still spend your holiday with us. A number of parks are still open, so you can continue to enjoy a stay surrounded by nature. We follow the guidelines of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). This means that we have closed the following facilities:

    - Swimming pools and indoor playgrounds
    - Bowling and other indoor facilities
    - Restaurants, snack bars and shops

    The reception and technical service are available.

    The rental prices in this period have been adjusted.
