With its casino, fishermen’s houses, promenade and water sports facilities, Travemünde resembles a typical seaside resort. Despite this, during your holiday on the Baltic Sea you will see the natural environment from a different side. The coastal area between Travemünde and Niendorf is steep and the natural environment has a rugged feel about it. From the holiday park beside the Baltic Sea, it is just as easy for you to visit the city centre of Travemünde as the largest collection of owls in the world, in the Niendorf bird park. The Hanseatic towns of Lübeck and Wismar are also nearby. And the sauna at the holiday park or the Ostsee-Therme recreational baths will take care of your physical wellbeing.
