Welcome to Landal Ameland State
Woods, dunes, beaches, and salt marshes - when it comes to natural beauty, Ameland has it all. At the heart of this delightful landscape is Landal Ameland State, a complex of 85 spacious apartments. And the beach is just a 100-metre walk away. The picture-postcard village of Nes is at a distance of 1,500 metres. As well as wonderful and varied landscapes, Ameland has interesting museums and other worthwhile sites and activities.
These are all within a twelve-kilometre radius of Nes. With a bit of luck, you may encounter a colony of sea lions on Ameland, because they are frequent swimmers in the Wadden Sea, You could also pay a visit to the Ameland lighthouse, which dates from 1880. There is more history to be found in the Sorgdrager cultural and historical museum in Hollum. Ameland is just right for those wishing to be active - horse riding, golf, surfing... Plenty of activities!
