Enjoy the magnificent Zuid-Oost Drenthe. The best way of getting to know the many facets of Drenthe is by bike, and not just during the Landelijke Fietsvierdaagse (National Cycling Four-Days). Bring your bike or hire one at Landal Parc Sandur. A park that has comfortable detached chalets, situated on small peninsulas with a view of the vast recreational lake. Here you will be able to go canoeing, pedal boating and sailing with electrically powered ‘whispering’ boats. Had enough of pedalling for now? Then visit the covered swimming pool, the sports centre or the Park Centre with a range of restaurants, a supermarket and the indoor playtime paradise. Incidentally, did you know that Emmen can offer you a wide range of recreational facilities? One of the loveliest zoos in the Netherlands, Dierenpark Emmen, is just one example. You really shouldn’t miss it.
